DR. MATT MARINOVICH
Dr. Matt Marinovich’s passion for dentistry was inspired by his parents, Drs. Sue and John Marinovich, whose legacy he proudly upholds as the Principal Dentist at Marinovich Dental – a practice recognized for dental excellence in the Quinte West region for over 30 years.
With a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours from Western University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from the University of Toronto, Matt’s pursuit of excellence led him to further train in implant dentistry, becoming a credentialed Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
After gaining invaluable experience in Toronto, Matt returned to his roots in Quinte West bringing a unique blend of artistry and surgical skill to his family-owned practice. Drawing from his mother’s eye for aesthetics and his father’s expertise in oral surgery, Dr. Matt has mastered both the art and science of dentistry.
Renowned for his attention to detail and commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Matt prioritizes building lasting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and empowered throughout their dental journey.
Beyond his clinical practice, Matt is an active member of the Bay of Quinte Dental Society, serving as Social Chair while fostering camaraderie within the dental community. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, indulging in a variety of recreational activities including skiing, wakeboarding, playing musical instruments, and staying fit.
DR. JOHN MARINOVICH
Dr. John Marinovich is a distinguished dentist with over 30 years of experience. After earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Windsor in 1986 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University in 1990, he and his wife, Dr. Sue Marinovich, made Quinte West their home, drawn by its serene landscape and community. Together, they established Marinovich Dental, a beacon of oral health and wellness in the region.
Known for his warmth and professionalism, Dr. John approaches his work with unwavering passion and integrity. His genuine care for his patients is evident in his ability to share a joke or funny story, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere during appointments.
Throughout his career, Dr. John has served on the General Council for the Ontario Dental Association and as the former President of the Bay of Quinte Dental Society, contributing to the advancement of dentistry in Ontario.
Beyond his professional endeavours, John enjoys traveling and spending time with his three grown children and grandchildren. His enduring commitment to excellence and compassionate care has earned him the trust and admiration of patients and colleagues alike.
DR. SUE MARINOVICH
Dr. Sue Marinovich is a dedicated dentist with a passion for delivering exceptional dental care to her patients. Graduating from Western University in 1990, where she met her husband John, Sue embarked on her dental career with a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care.
After working as an associate dentist with her father, Dr. Joseph Pacsuta, in Welland, Sue relocated to the Bay of Quinte to join her husband in sharing a practice and raising their family. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Sue has built lasting relationships with her patients and staff, priding herself on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for all.
Specializing in aesthetic dentistry, Sue is dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern techniques to provide long-lasting, beautiful smiles. Her extensive continuing education reflects her commitment to excellence and ensuring the best outcomes for her patients.
Outside of the office, Sue enjoys spending time on the Bay of Quinte, cherishing moments with family and friends. Her genuine care and dental expertise make her a trusted ally in achieving optimal oral health and radiant smiles for patients of all ages.
DR. TROY STUCKLESS
Dr. Troy Stuckless has deep roots in the Bay of Quinte area, where he grew up alongside his family in Trenton. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, he pursued a Master of Science in Human Physiology at the University of British Columbia. His academic journey led him to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with honours and received the prestigious Paul K. Takahashi Scholarship for excellence in clinical periodontics.
Dr. Stuckless proudly joined the Marinovich Dental team in 2022 and is dedicated to serving the community he grew up in while making a positive impact one smile at a time. His calm demeanour is sure to make any patient feel at ease in his care.
In his spare time, Dr. Troy fulfils his passion for giving back to his community by participating in local dental outreach programs. Outside of his clinical pursuits, Troy is a published author on multiple scientific articles covering diverse topics such as exercise, cardiovascular health, and mental well-being. Troy embraces an active lifestyle and is an avid traveler.
